Xura (formerly Comverse) provides digital technology for a range of communications systems. The company designs and sells communication software and systems that handle messaging, call management, and data delivery services for a range of customers that include large companies. It also provides related services such as consulting, design implementation, interoperability testing, maintenance, support, and training. Its services are sold to more than 450 wireline, wireless, and cable network  providers in some 140 countries. After acquiring Acision and rebranding as Xura in 2015, the company was bought by Siris Capital Group in 2016.
