Williams Partners (formerly Access Midstream Partners) is a midstream gathering company that owns, operates, develops, and acquires natural gas, natural gas liquids (NGLs), and oil gathering assets in the US. It gathers about 3.9 billion cu. ft. of natural gas per day via some 5,800 miles of gathering and transmission lines. The company also has processing facilities that provide services to thousands of wells. Its assets are located in a dozen states, with operations in the Barnett, Eagle Ford, Haynesville, Marcellus, Niobrara, and Utica shales and several unconventional plays in the Mid-Continent region.
