Without any radio stations of its own, Dial Global (formerly Westwood One) still reaches listeners across the country. The company is one of the largest producers and distributors of radio programming in the US. Dial Global provides entertainment, news, and sports programming to more than 7,000 affiliated radio stations and 165 television stations. Its more than 200 programs include talk shows and sporting events such as college football and basketball, NFL, and NHL games. In 2011 the company divested its Metro Traffic segment, which provided traffic reports, local news, sports, and weather information to radio and TV stations.
