It's more than bricks and mortar for Western Construction Group, a specialty contractor with expertise in masonry and concrete restoration and preventive waterproofing. It also performs specialty services such as installation of commercial and industrial roofing and insulation, architectural metal restoration and fabrication, seismic upgrades, and disaster recovery. The group's eight member companies operate more than 35 offices throughout the US. Western Construction Group was founded as Western Waterproofing Co. in 1915 by George Bishop Sr. and Ben Many. It has been privately held by the Bishop family for three generations.
