The self-administered and self-managed real estate investment trust (REIT) owns and manages commercial real estate in the Mid-Atlantic, mainly in the greater Washington/Baltimore corridor. WRIT owns a diversified property portfolio spanning more than 6 million sq. ft., which includes about 20 office buildings, some 15 retail centers, and over a dozen apartment communities, as well as land held for development. The REIT generates more than 55% of its revenue from office properties.
