Vista International Technologies sees itself as a potential leader in renewable energy technology on a global scale. The company is working to develop and market its Thermal Gasifier Technology and to build and operate small power plants. Colorado-based Vista  has operations in waste-to-energy gassification, low-wind-speed generators, alternative fuels, and energy-saving lighting. Its primary operation is a facility in Texas that converts used tires into fuel.  The company is looking for partners to build, own, and operate small waste-to-energy plants or utilize the company's technology under license. Investor Richard Strain owns just under 50% of Vista, while board member Timothy Ruddy owns a 10% stake.
