Uns Energy Corporation
UNS Energy (formerly UniSource Energy) gets most of its revenues from its energy utilities. Its Tucson Electric Power (TEP) unit generates and distributes electricity to about 406,000 customers in southeastern Arizona. The unit has about 2,245 MW of generating capacity. Subsidiary UniSource Energy Services (UES) provides electricity (UNS Electric Services) to 91,000 customers and natural gas (UNS Gas) to 149,000 customers in 30 communities in northern and southern areas of the state. UNS Energy's Millennium Energy Holdings unit invests in unregulated energy and emerging technology companies. In 2014 the company was acquired by Fortis for $4.3 billion.
