United Bancorp is the holding company of Ohio's Citizens Savings Bank, which operates as Citizens Savings Bank and The Community Bank. The bank divisions together operate some 20 branches, offering deposit and lending products including savings and checking accounts, commercial and residential mortgages, and consumer installment loans. Commercial loans and mortgages combined account for about 60% of the company's loan portfolio. In 2008 Citizens Savings Bank acquired the deposits of three failed banking offices from the FDIC.
