Toyoda Gosei has a yen to make more of its revenue in dollars, yuans, and euros. The manufacture of auto components, such as instrument panels, hoses, and airbags, composes about 95% of sales non automobile sales include light-emitting diodes (LEDs) and plastic cases for cell phones and air purifiers. Though Japan accounts for almost 45% of its sales, Toyoda Gosei is focusing its sales growth on foreign markets. To support that expansion, Toyoda Gosei has increased its operations in China, Vietnam, and the US. Major customers include Toyota Motor, which founded Toyoda Gosei in 1949 as Nagoya Rubber and continues to own nearly 43% of the company.
