Formerly Regent Communications, Townsquare Media is a leading radio broadcasting business with more than 300 stations serving smaller markets around the country. It also operates a portfolio of about 15 ad-base music and entertainment websites, including Taste of Country, PopCrush, ScreenCrush, Ultimate Classic Rock, Loudwire, The Boombox, and ComicsAlliance. In addition, Townsquare produces live events such as the Loudwire Music Festival in Colorado and the Louisiana Outdoor Expo. The company emerged from bankruptcy in 2010 and went public in 2014. It plans to use the $91 million in proceeds to pay down debt.
