Welcome to Toshiba Machine. The company manufactures precision and plastic processing machinery, dye-casting machines, and hydraulic equipment. It serves a breadth of industries, from automotive and aerospace to die and mold, energy, and construction. Toshiba Machine's products include printing presses, machine tools, semiconductor manufacturing equipment (through independent subsidiary NuFlare Technology), and electronic controls. It partners on machine research and development with Sanjo Seiki, and Krauss Maffei. Established in 1938 as Shibaura Machine Tool, the company adopted the Toshiba name in 1961. Toshiba, however, has since sold close to 20% of its stake in Toshiba Machine, down from about 30%.
