Tietex International twists and turns to the wants of its textile customers. The company manufactures and markets a variety of fabrics, produced by stitch-bonding, micro-stitching, or warp-knitting. Its operations are divided between interior fabrics and performance fabrics. The former is used primarily in mattress ticking, residential and outdoor furniture upholstery, and drapery and bedding. Performance fabrics serve applications from running shoes to roofing reinforcement, velcro, fire resistant products, and automotive cushions. Tietex has operations in the US, the Netherlands, and Thailand and was founded in 1972.
