The H. T. Hackney Company is one of the nation's largest wholesale distributors of food products and other retail items. It serves more than 30,000 convenience stores, drug stores, travel centers, and independent grocers in 20-plus states (mostly east of the Mississippi). The company supplies more than 25,000 items, including frozen food, baked goods, candy, snacks, tobacco products, health and beauty items, and deli products. In addition, it owns bottled water producer Natural Springs Water Group, potato chip maker Uncle Rays, and furniture manufacturers and wholesalers Holland House Furniture and H.Home. Founded in 1891, H. T. Hackney is owned by chairman and CEO Bill Sansom.
