The company provides video production and visual effects, post-production, and related services to content providers, such as filmmakers, video producers, and movie theater operators. It has worked on major Hollywood films, including all the movies in the Harry Potter series. Other offerings include media content management, electronic content distribution, and DVD replication, as well as set-top boxes, modems, and networking solutions. After the company, formerly called Thomson SA, filed for bankruptcy amid a heavy debt load, it underwent a 2010 restructuring that included a new start under the brand of former subsidiary Technicolor.
