The company provides similar services for anesthesiology, inpatient care (hospitalist), and pediatric programs. Team Health contracts with about 3,500 civilian and military hospitals, clinics, and physician groups across the US. Investment firm Blackstone is buying Team Health in a $6.1 billion (including debt) deal.
