Tallgrass Energy holds 22.5% of (and manages) Tallgrass Equity, which itself owns (through Tallgrass MLP GP, LLC) all of Tallgrass Energy Partners' (TEP) incentive distribution rights, and a 1.4% general partner interest in TEP. Tallgrass Equity owns a 32.75% limited partner interest in TEP. TEP’s business consists of the Tallgrass Interstate Gas Transmission (TIGT) system (in Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Wyoming); the Trailblazer Pipeline (Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska); a 66.7% membership interest in Tallgrass Pony Express Pipeline; the Casper and Douglas natural gas processing plants; and the West Frenchie Draw natural gas treating facility. It went public in 2015.
