Sunoco LP (formerly Susser Petroleum Partners) pairs with its parent to proffer petroleum. It operates about 900 convenience stores and retail fuel sites and distributes motor fuel to convenience stores, independent dealers, commercial customers and distributors in more than 30 US states at 6,800 sites, both directly and through its 32% stake in in Sunoco, LLC, owned in partnership with Energy Transfer Partners (ETP). Energy Transfer Equity owns 's general partner and incentive distribution rights. ETP owns a 38.4% limited partner interest in the company. In 2016 Sunoco LP bought the fuels business of Emerge Energy Services LP for $167.7 million.
