ST Messaging Services, dba SkyTel, has taken paging to the outer limits. The first company to offer nationwide numeric and text paging services in the US, SkyTel provides wireless data and messaging services, including wireless e-mail, interactive and secure two-way messaging, and wireless telemetry services. It also still provides text and numeric paging. SkyTel's FleetHawk product is a GPS-based fleet management system. The company became a subsidiary of American Messaging Services in 2011, after passing from Bell Industries to Velocita Wireless in 2008.
