Silicom has connections in the networking business. The company designs and manufactures computer networking cards used to link network servers and data storage devices. In addition to single and multifunction network cards, Silicom supplies PC cards for connecting computers to serial peripherals. The company markets its products in the US through subsidiary Silicom Connectivity Solutions. The company is part of the affiliated networking and telecom companies known as RAD Group. Silicom co-founder and director Yehuda Zisapel and his brother Zohar also founded several other RAD Group companies.
