Ship Finance International Limited
Ship Finance International oversees a multifaceted collection of about 65 vessels that have an overall capacity of some 11 million deadweight tons (DWT). The company's fleet of about 25 crude oil tankers includes both very large crude carriers (VLCCs) and Suezmax vessels. In addition, Ship Finance International has oil/bulk/ore (OBO) vessels, containerships, 11 dry bulk carriers, jack-up drilling rigs, offshore support vessels, and seismic vessels. Most of the company's tankers and OBO vessels are operated under long-term charters by Frontline, which formed Ship Finance International in 2003 and sold the company its original fleet.
