Seadrill Limited
If there's oil at the bottom of the deepest seas, Seadrill wouldn't mind drilling for it. An offshore deepwater drilling company, Seadrill owns a fleet of mobile rigs and ships that operate in ultra-deepwater, including 15 semisubmersible rigs and four drillships (both types can operate in waters up to 10,000 ft. deep). The company's fleet also includes 20 jack-up rigs and several tender rigs, which operate in shallower waters. In addition to its drilling rig operations, the company also offers drilling and well services through subsidiary Seawell. Seadrill, which operates primarily in Southeast Asia, Northern Europe, Brazil, and Africa, has counted Statoil, Total, Exxon Mobil, Petrobras, and BP as customers.
