Its customers have included AT&T Mobility, Unilever, and the US government. Sapient has expertise in providing services for financial and commodity markets, though it also targets global blue-chip customers in the consumer, travel, and automotive industries, among others. It has more than 30 offices worldwide; about half of those are in North America. In early 2015, Sapient was acquired by French advertising giant Publicis Groupe.
