Saba Software doesn't want employees' minds going on sabbatical. The company develops human capital management hosted software that firms use to align employee goals, develop and motivate people, and measure results. Its applications allow clients to customize, deliver, analyze, and track Internet-based employee learning programs, as well as to focus on employee goals, performance reviews, compensation, and succession planning. Saba also offers strategic workshops, consulting services, customer support, and hosting services. Clients include the human resources departments of more than 2,200 global customers across multiple industries, as well as government agencies. Saba was acquired by Vector Capital, a private equity firm, in March 2015.
