The first Red Robin restaurant opened in Seattle, Washington in September 1969 near the University of Washington campus, and it served incredible burgers that people had not seen or tasted before. As word spread of the small restaurant with the insanely delicious gourmet burgers, people all across the country started asking for a Red Robin in their hometown. Today, Red Robin employs over 27,000 Team Members and has grown to over 500 locations across the United States and Canada.
