Quad City is muscling in on the community banking scene in the Midwest. QCR Holdings is the holding company for Quad City Bank and Trust, Cedar Rapids Bank and Trust, Rockford Bank and Trust, and First Wisconsin Bank and Trust. Together, the banks have about 10 offices serving the Quad City area of Illinois and Iowa, as well as the communities of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Rockford, Illinois; and Milwaukee. The banks offer traditional deposit products and services and concentrate their lending activities on local businesses: Commercial real estate loans make up nearly half of the loan portfolio; commercial loans and leases make up another third.
