The company provides satisfaction survey research and quality improvement services exclusively to clients in the health care industry. Services include survey development, printing, distribution, and administration as well as analysis, reporting, and best practices consulting. Press Ganey Associates partners with more than 22,000 health care organizations and serves more than 60% of all hospitals in the US. The independent firm was founded in 1985. It went public in 2015 but agreed to be acquired by Swedish private equity firm EQT the following year. The deal is being valued at $2.3 billion.
