Performance and industrial coatings -- such as paints (Pittsburgh Paints, Comex, and SIGMA), stains (Olympic), and sealants -- account for most of its sales; the remainder comes from glass materials. PPG's glass offerings include flat glass for buildings, fabricated glass, and continuous-strand fiberglass used in aircraft and buildings. The company has sold its chemical commodities and optical products businesses in order to focus on its core coating and glass segments.
