Electrum Special Acquisition Corporation
As the popularity of computer telephony spreads, Pervasip (formerly eLEC Communications) hopes to cash in on convergence. Through its VoX Communications subsidiary, the company provides wholesale Voice-over-Internet Protocol (VoIP) service to cable network operators, ISPs, competitive local exchange carriers (CLECs), and other resellers. Its customers, in turn, provide private or co-branded VoIP services to the residential and small business markets. VoX's service packages include such features as call return, voicemail, caller ID, and call waiting.
