Penguin Random House Llc
Its not-so-random acts of publishing have transformed Penguin Random House into one of the world's largest book publishers. The company operates its own imprint and some 250 others. Its top-sellers include Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code, and its stable of authors includes Elmore Leonard, Toni Morrison, and Dr. Seuss. In addition, the company publishes Fodor's popular travel books, audio products, and electronic books. Outside the US, Random House Penguin oversees dozens of publishers as well such as McClelland & Stewart (Canada) and Plaza & Janés (Spain). The current company formed in 2013 when Random House completed its merger with The Penguin Group.
