Warmth in the Pacific Northwest comes naturally for Northwest Natural Gas, which does business as NW Natural. The company provides natural gas to 628,600 residential, 65,300 commercial, and 1,000 industrial customers in western Oregon (including Portland) and southwestern Washington (including Vancouver) through its 14,000 miles of transmission and distribution mains and service lines. Responding to increased demand, NW Natural is looking to expand its gas transportation and storage services through Gill Ranch Storage and the proposed Palomar Gas Transmission pipeline. It also owns pipeline investment company NNG Financial Corporation.
