Nine West Holdings is no longer keeping up with the Joneses. Formerly The Jones Group, Nine West is the remaining women's footwear and denim business after private equity firm Sycamore Partners bought the company and split it up. Its portfolio of brands includes Nine West, Easy Spirit, Anne Klein, and l.e.i. In addition to providing its products to major US retailers, Nine West operates more than 250 retail locations, and licenses its brands internationally. Before the split and new name, The Jones Group included a host of other brands such as Jones New York, Gloria Vanderbilt, Evan-Picone, Stuart Weitzman, and Kurt Geiger.
