National American University Holdings, Inc.
National American University Holdings believes in the power of continuing education. Through subsidiary Dlorah, the for-profit company owns National American University (NAU), which has more than 20 campuses in eight states and offers classes online. Some locations are considered hybrids, offering both in-class and online courses. Targeting working adults and other non-traditional students, NAU offers associate's, bachelor's, and master's degrees, as well as certification in business, criminal justice, and health care disciplines. The university was founded in 1941 as the National School of Business; the holding company, which was formed in 2007 to acquire an education company, purchased Dlorah in 2009.
