It produces about 8,500 varieties of bearings and electronic devices for use by telecommunications, aerospace, automotive, and household electrical appliance industries. In addition to a diversity of bearings, MinebeaMitsumi's lineup offers machinery parts and ball-bearing spindle motors for disk drives, keyboards, and other computer-related hardware. The company's integrated manufacturing systems, ultra precision machining, and mass-production technologies reach through almost 50 subsidiaries, primarily in Asia. In 2017 Minebea acquired Mitsumi Electric and took its new name.
