Customers include  Hyatt Hotels,  InterContinental Hotels, and  Marriott International, as well as  IHOP,  Starbucks,  Wendy's,  Belk, and Nine West. Additionally, MICROS products are used in related settings such as casinos, cruise ships, sports arenas, airport concourses, and theme parks. The company generates more than half of its sales outside the US and Canada. In late 2014 it was acquired by Oracle.
