Its BOOSTCAP ultracapacitor cells and multi-cell modules are used to extend battery life in electronic devices in consumer electronics, hybrid vehicles, and renewable energy applications. The company also makes CONDIS-branded high-voltage capacitors for electrical grids and radiation-shielded microelectronics for aerospace applications, such as satellites and spacecraft. Customers outside the US (including ABB, with 10% of sales)account for three-quarters of revenues.
