The company operates in some 90 countries around the world, providing cement, concrete, asphalt, and aggregates for use in housing, infrastructure, and oil & gas wells, among other projects. It also offers research, import/export trading, consulting, and management services for the construction industry. The company was created in 2015 with the merger of rivals Holcim, based in Switzerland, and Lafarge, based in France.
