Because of that, in 2007 Isramco sold to I.O.C Israel Oil Company the bulk of its Israel-based activities and assets including its stake in Isramco Oil & Gas. Focusing on growing its US operations, the company is engaged (through subsidiaries Jay Petroleum and Jay Management) in oil and gas exploration, primarily in Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas, and Wyoming. In 2007 Isramco reported proved reserves of 50.3 billion cu. ft. of gas equivalent. Chairman and CEO Haim Tsuff owns 49.8% of Isramco.
