Intrawest Resorts Holdings wants to snow you a good time. The company owns six North American ski mountain resorts including well-known spots Mammoth Mountain, Snowshoe, Steamboat, and Winter Park. Instrawest also runs a real estate business and an adventure travel business. Its mountain resorts offer activities combining outdoor adventure and fitness with services and amenities such as retail, equipment rental, dining, lodging, ski school, spa services, golf, mountain biking, and other summer activities. All told the company's six resort areas offer a total of about 8,000 skiable acres and more than 1,100 acres of land available for real estate development. In early 2014 Instrawest went public.
