The only things micro about Ingram are some of the smaller electronic components it sells. The world's largest wholesale distributor of information technology products, Ingram Micro provides thousands of products -- desktop and notebook PCs, servers, storage devices, monitors, printers, and software -- to more than 200,000 customers in some 160 countries worldwide. It sells products from more than 1,800 suppliers, including many of the world's top manufacturers. The company also offers services to its resellers and suppliers including supply chain management, business intelligence, financing, logistics, cloud computing, and network support services. Chinese firm Tianjin Tianhai Investment Company acquired Ingram Micro for $6 billion in 2016.
