GXS (which stands for Global eXchange Services) wants the world to transact. It operates one of the world's largest business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce networks, connecting thousands of trading partners and managing more than a billion transactions each year. It also offers electronic data interchange (EDI) software and services, helping trading partners exchange electronic documents that are essential for business transactions. Other applications include shipping and labeling, product data management, order management, and logistics. In 2014 the company was bought by Open Text for $1 billion.
