The company distributes its products throughout the US, Canada, Europe, and Japan. Founded in 1898, Gund is one of the oldest plush toy makers in the US. In 2008 the family-run company sold out to Enesco, a global distributor of giftware and home decor, whose brands include Beatrice Potter Classics, Cherished Teddies, and Pooh & Friends.
