Gram Caledon Resources Limited
Gram Caledon Resources (formerly Caledon Resource) digs it up Down Under. The company explores for and produces coal in the Bowen Basin in Australia. Its primary producing mine, the Cook property of Queensland, had been decommissioned before Gram Caledon took it over in 2006. The mine annually produces about 535 tons, with about 80% of its output coking coal and 20% thermal coal. The company also explores at the Minyanco coal deposit; full production there awaits completion of the Wiggins Island Coal Export Terminal in Gladstone. Gram Caledon is a subsidiary of China-based investment firm Guangdong Rising Assets Management Co.
