Exterran Corporation owns the assets and liabilities associated with former parent Exterran Holdings' international services and global fabrication businesses. It is a market leader in the provision of compression, production and processing products and services that support the production and transportation of oil and natural gas worldwide. The company operates through three business segments: contract operations, aftermarket services, and product sales. Exterran was spun off from Exterran Holdings in late 2015. As part of the deal, Exterran Holdings (which handles US operations) changed its name to Archrock, Inc.
