Think plastics. Richco, Inc. (formerly Richco Plastic Company) makes more than 10,000 plastic and metal parts for the electric, electronic, appliance, medical, telecom, and fiber-optic industries. Products include circuit board hardware, clips and clamps, fasteners, wire management devices, and cable ties. These products hold together and help run almost anything from Coke machines to computers. Founded in 1954 by brothers Craig and Charles Richardson, Richco manufactures its products at nearly 20 facilities located throughout Asia, Europe, and North America. The company also offers services, including custom molding and extrusion, and design engineering. Filtrona (renamed Essentra) bought the company in 2011.
