EOS GmbH Electro Optical Systems has its eye on the laser-sintering systems business. The company's products are divided into three divisions: EOSING P, which creates models, prototypes, and end products from plastic; EOSINT M, which produces parts and tooling for injection molding from metal powders; and EOSINT S, which allows direct production of molds and cores in foundry sand for metal casting. Customers include companies in the aerospace, automotive, electronics, medical, and robotics industries. EOS was founded by CEO and majority shareholder Hans Langer in 1989.
