Operating primarily in California, it installs insulation on pipes, ducts, furnaces, boilers, and other industrial equipment. It also maintains and removes insulation and sells specialty insulation products to public utilities, oil, petrochemical, and heavy construction companies. Metalclad's customers have included Jacobs Engineering Group and Southern California Edison .
