CyrusOne Networks wants to be the first hosted IT services company that Texans call. The company provides data and network co-location services for businesses primarily in the Austin, Houston, and Dallas metropolitan areas. Its managed hosting services include oversight of network hardware and software, network systems support, and data storage and backup. CyrusOne serves such industries as electronics, retail, and manufacturing; customers have included Dynegy, Halliburton, and Schlumberger. Founded in 2000 by CEO David Ferdman, CyrusOne was controlled by private-equity firm ABRY Partners before it was acquired in 2010 by phone company Cincinnati Bell for $526 million.
