Customers Bancorp makes it pretty clear who they want to serve. Boasting some $8.5 billion in assets, the bank holding company operates about 15 branches mostly in southeastern Pennsylvania, but also in New York and New Jersey. It offers personal and business checking, savings, and money market accounts as well as loans, certificates of deposit, credit cards, and concierge or appointment banking (they come to you, seven days a week). Around 95% of the bank's loan portfolio is made up of commercial loans, while the rest consists of consumer loans. It was formed in 2010 as a holding company for Customers Bank, which was created in 1994 as New Century Bank.
