Through its primary CuraScript Specialty Pharmacy (Curascript SP) division, the company is one of the top distributors of specialty drugs in the US. It distributes medications and medical supplies to patients with chronic diseases and other conditions that require costly biotech drugs that most pharmacies don't carry. Its smaller CuraScript Specialty Distribution (CuraScript SD) unit distributes specialty drugs to doctors' offices and clinics and provides group purchasing services for its clients. CuraScript is a subsidiary of pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) Express Scripts.
