Capturing couch potatoes and corporate clients in some 40 states from Connecticut to California is the mission of Comcast Cable Communications, the cable services component of parent Comcast Corporation. The company has more than 22 million video subscribers, making it the largest US cable company (ahead of #2 Time Warner Cable, which Comcast is trying to buy) and about 23 million broadband Internet customers. About 80% of revenue comes from residential customers. Comcast Cable also oversees the advertising business and accounts for about 61% of sales for parent Comcast Corporation, while the NBCUniversal unit makes up much of the rest.
